One of the things that I miss most about Kate is her insistence that there be time for friends to chat with each other and not about work. She would make time to have dinner, as long as (1)we did not talk about business but about each other's family and (2) as long as there was good wine to be enjoyed. In later years, she seemed to enjoy early morning 'alone time' with her SODUKU puzzles that I could never understand but which clearly allowed her time to meditate and relax.
